I have been working as a counsellor for the past fourteen years in a variety of settings including schools, colleges and charities. I have worked with a variety of ages but specialise in working with young people.
Within this time, I also have experience of working as a pastoral tutor within a college and as a youth support worker for the youth service. I am also currently a trained and experienced safeguarding officer.
I have a graduate diploma in counselling, a certificate in Cognitive Behavioural therapy and am a registered member of the BACP working towards my accreditation. I am currently working on completing an MSc. in advanced counselling and psychotherapy at the University of Salford as well as attending regular training as part of my continued professional development.
I have a strong passion and commitment to working with people of all ages and backgrounds, supporting them with building their emotional resilience and achieving positive mental health.
I live in Crewe and my spare time is spent reading, attending the theatre and spending as much time as I can with my husband, two children and granddaughter.
