I have worked for 14 years as a counsellor, trainer and support worker in various organisations including statutory and non-statutory settings.
I have worked with clients facing many issues including domestic and sexual abuse, relationship difficulties, bereavement and loss, self esteem and self confidence. This work has included 1:1 support, group work and facilitating training programmes to clients and fellow professionals.
I have extensive experience of facilitating group work and thrive on the challenges this can present, this work has highlighted the need for emotional and mental health support and this has fired my passion to tackle the issues surrounding positive mental health and wellbeing.
I live in Congleton with my husband, two grown up children and beautiful little dogs Dobby and Bella – can you tell we’re Harry Potter fans !!
I love where I live and have a passion to improve the emotional resilience and mental health of my community.
